PROJECTS Corvette America, Inc. Corporate Offices ![]() Corvette America is in the process of renovating an existing 200,000 square foot factory, and converting it into their new Corporate Offices, Distribution Center, and Showroom. Initially, a master plan was developed to outline the scope and scale of the project. The master plan was completed in March of 2005, and is beginning to be implemented. Phase I is to include the renovation of 155,000 square feet of the existing facility. This is categorized as 30,000 square feet to accommodate new corporate offices (purchasing, sales, advertising, accounting, human resources, operations, technology and administration), 110,000 square feet for a new distribution center (shipping, receiving, etc.), and 15,000 square feet dedicated to staff training and support spaces. Also included as part of Phase I is the infrastructure necessary, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, technology, and fire protection, to support the future phases of the work. Major construction activities for Phase I were completed in November of 2005, and owner occupancy is currently underway.Phase II, the design of the Showroom and Retail Space, is currently in the documentation stage. Construction is scheduled to begin in January of 2006. Subsequent phases will include a diner, consignment area, workshop, manufacturing space, and the development of the site to accommodate visitors, shipping, receiving, parking, etc. Refurbishing the exterior, including new main canopies, branding and signage, is also to be included as part of the subsequent phases.
